Camera Recommendations Anyone?

By
Real Estate Agent with Sibcy Cline Realtors

I'm ready for a new camera and thought that the best recommendations would come from other agents in the Rain.  I want a camera that is simple to use but takes great pictures inside and out.  Preferably a 6-10 megapixel with at least a 4-6 optical zoom.

Who better to ask than my fellow real estate professionals.

Hello Todd - We use a Cannon Rebel and the new ones are 10 megapixel.  If you go that route you should also look at wide angle lens.   You can make the smallest room look spacious, photos drive showings!

Todd,

It all depends on what you want the camera to do. Will you be using the pictures for your web site and the internet? Do you want high quality print images?

If the camera is to be used for real estate you don't need high resolution as monitors only display about 150 pixels per inch. Brochures and flyers only need about 300 dpi to look good.

If you want to print high quality photo images then you'll want cameras with mega pixel chips, high resolution and most importantly, a good lense.

If you don't want DSLR and want a good lens try the Panasonic FX 35 with a 25 mm lens.  It is a point and shoot camera so you have to work harder to get inside pictures then you would with a more robust camera.
