Lets Take a Little Time Away From the Blogging Frenzy of the Past Week to Welcome a Few New Bloggers This Week 7-13-14
This week has been kind of nuts in the rain with the frenzy to post post and then post some more.
Sure its been fun, but lets not lose sight of one of our roles here in the rain, to build community.
And part of that community is the new folks who are just getting started.
We all remember our first blog post, that nervousness of venturing forward, taking a risk and exposing our self to the world.
The fear of all the unknown strangers reading our thoughts, making sure that everything was just right, not revealing too much to these strangers, yet revealing enough information to make it interesting.
Most weeks I take this time on a Sunday evening to summarize a few posters; this week will be a little different.
This week we will talk about how you can go directly to this list and decide for yourself who to visit from the past week or more and I will show a few that I have noticed.
Generally there is a link toward the top of this post to take you to the list, but Active Rain added something new this week, an actual link on your home page.
Take a look at the left side of your home page, stats page or score page and look for the link that says “more blogs to read”, click this then click “first blog posts”.
Take a few minutes to stop by, read a few of these new blog posts and welcome these first timers to the rain!
