In South Stockton, the median home price is $142,000 with homes staying on the market on an average of 37 days. The median home price this time last year was $124,000. In the month of June, the number of active listings in South Stockton has increased by 5.5% from the previous month.
Currently, 34 homes on the market are distressed properties (foreclosure and short sales), an increase from the previous month. I am please to see the increase of short sales. This is a good sign that homeowners are taking advantage of selling their home versus allowing it to go into foreclosure or vacating the property.
