So, the Ardsley house that needed some renovation to get it market ready?? Well, it's ready!! Just wanted to share some before and after photos so that you can see the value added of a westchester county interior decorator and home stager:
Bathroom Before Bathroom in Process
The bathroom was gutted and the 1970's blue tile and old double vanity replaced with white subway tile, new bath and light fixtures, recessed double medicine cabinets, a granite countertop and a gorgeous 12"x12" ceramic tile floor, more appropriate to the scale of the bathroom. The tub was the only fixture that remained but I glazed it white as the last step in the remodel.
Bathroom Now
The kitchen cabinets, formerly a dark brown, were painted white stained wallpaper removed from the walls. A lovely soft green opens up the kitchen, and a lovely new light fixture replaces the dated old monstrosity! Even the tile floor looks better with white cabinets:
An estate sale, a tag sale lots of boxing up of belongings and a dumpster, allowed the house to be emptied and the floors redone in a natural finish. Unfortunately, we do not have a dining table to use for showing but the floors are absolutely beautiful, the walls a very neutral taupe, the windows cleaned and a breakfront works as a placeholder to show that the space can accommodate large pieces. A gorgeous Victorian chandelier is included in the price and the wood flooring is clearly a selling feature.
Dining Area Before Dining Area Now
And now, it's up to the Realtor to price it right and let the market provide a return on this investment!
