Carlsbadians have another new eatery to enjoy.
The Land and Water Company restaurant opened not too long ago in the old Ocean House space, a bar and nightclub for 10 years, in Carlsbad Village right on the Coast Road.
The building housing the new Land and Water Co. restaurant is historic, with a colorful history dating back to the early 1900s.
The Land and Water Co. offers both indoor and outdoor dining, with a menu that changes monthly.
With the location directly on the coast road, people watching and taking in the downtown village views are no doubt popular.
The Land and Water Co. even offers the artesian water that was discovered in the area in the 1800s and which led to the name, Carlsbad (from Karlsbad, Bohemia).
As the name implies, specialities from the earth and sea form the foundation of the chef’s creative menus. The Land and Water Co. is open 7 days per week, including lunch.
