Prospecting For New Business

So I'm always curious to see what other agents are doing to prospect for new business. With so many lead generation companies out there looking for our money and not delivering on their promises what do you do? I personally like to go after expired listings. However, recently I've been giving a lot of thought into some of the older methods like farming a neighborhood. I think there is still a value in a consumer seeing your info each and every month. I've also tried some of the ads on the various sites like Realtor.com, Zillow, etc. I didn't see much success with these either, but again this was some time ago. Another good way is to develop relationships with different people such as mortgage reps, title companies, builders, and attorneys. Feel free to add anything you might think is a good idea of gaining new business.
