Today I had to go get the keys from a house that just closed so it was too late to go home and cook. Just down the street from Costco in Moreno Valley is a fairly new restaurant called Portillo's Hot Dogs.

My husband knows I love Chili Dogs so suggested we stop in and I was so glad we did. Oh my, the place is decorated like the 30-40's and and has gangster and G-Men Photos, cars from the 30's and great background music from the same era.

Just decorated so cute and what was even better was that the food was delicious. I meant to take a picture but devoured it without thinking. 

Here are a few pictures I took.

It is a chain from Illinois and has several other names; Luigi's, Barnella's, Retail Properties,  and Honey Jam Cafe. It was started in 1963 in Villa Park, Illinois.

He opened his business on a shoe string in a trailer. He now has 48 stores located in CA-2, AZ-1, IN-2, Illinois-43.  Here you will get the best food and service and come back over and over. Menu includes salads, pizzas, sandwiches, pasta, burgers and hot dogs.
