The new phase of Cosper Ridge Estates in south Killeen TX will be home to a new elementary school, set for completion in 2015.
The Killeen ISD Board of Trustees has approved the purchase of a 13.5 acre site from the Cosper family who owns and develops this area, paying aproximately $236,000 for the land.
The Killeen school district works hard to provide elementary schools within neighborhoods. It's a great idea, too because it can enhance the feeling of community and to encourage collaboration between teachers and student families! It's a great system in a city that is growing so fast, already exceeding a population of 100,000 folks.
