Have you ever seen the Makaha Beach Cabanas? This condo is on a beautiful beach here on Oahu.
No exaggeration, that's how nice the beach is. In recent years there have been times when listings rarely came up. Now that's beginning to change.
The reason - the board of directors has decided to enforce Hawaii's laws regarding vacation rentals and now the condo will not "look the other way" when owners rent out their units for less than 30 days. In other words, the board of directors is choosing to be sure the condo complies with Hawaii state law.

Eight listings at the Cabanas have sold through the first half of 2014 - actually all the way through the date of this post, July 22, 2014. The two highest priced listings, B918 and 812 were turn-key and ready to go. Others were in various conditions from needing a complete remodel to good condition.
