Summer is barely in full swing and the stores are talking back to school.
It is like Christmas...Some stores are already getting supplies in for that.
It just seems we are pushing the envelope a bit. I no spring chicken and would love to enjoy the seasons as they come.
But...that is today's society.

LET IT SNOW!!!!
William, do you have any idea where our society, who suffered bitter and brutal winter 2013, banishes people who pray or ask for snow? Believe me, William, you do not want to know. But in regard to your post, I agree. Please do not leapfrog over the seasons. Summer is short enough and so far, it has been wonderful. Let's keep it that way.
YOu know how to raise the hackles. I get where you are going with this. We seem to be wishing and pushing our lives down the street at a break neck speed.
William, it seems like the kids just got out of school and now they're headed back already.
William~ I am NOT ready for SNOW, or back to school or Halloween for that matter. I just want to enjoy the season that we are in as well!

Well, it isn't as bad as that, but I also hate the pushing of the seasons.
I just mentioned to Rich this morning how I can't believe it is already July 25th... not sure where the time is going but am sure it is going very fast and William I'm not ready for more snow... like you I want more time to enjoy this season...
That snow does look inviting, but I am not ready for my wife to head back to school, she just finished summer school yesterday.
Trying to get myself ready for Back to School. The oldest will be going to public school this year, which means I will be getting up earlier to drive him to school.............yuck!
I went today for a school orientation. When I talked to one of the staff members, she sang 'back to reality'. That song stuck with me for the whole day!

:) vacation is over. So soon!
Yes, it is that time of year again. I have no idea where the summer has gone.
