TONIGHT June 25th– “Banjo for Dummies” author Bill Evans will grace the Albany Community Center for a family friendly concert. With an amazing 8 banjo’s, Bill will perform music samples from the 1700’s to present day. Bill has performed with the San Francisco Symphony and on the great A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor (this brings back childhood memories).

July 25th – July 27th – YMTC presents Rodgers & Hammerstein’s classic musical “South Pacific”. This performance will feature a 30+ piece orchestra and a cast of over 30 actors/singers from 7th grade – University levels.
Location: Performing Arts Studio at El Cerrito High School
July 26th – July 27th – Berkeley Kite Festival! This will be the 29th year of this event! Enjoy food, music, kite making and many other kite activities including a show from the Kite Team of Japan. This is sure to be tons of fun for the family with no shortage of attractions also including face painting, pony riding, arts and crafts and live Taiko drumming! FREE KITE LESSONS AND FREE KITE MAKING!

July 27th – August 3rd – Eat Drink SF – mmmm! My favorite kind of event is one with delicious foodJ Formerly known as SF Chefs, this annual food, wine and spirits festival will showcase some of the areas greatest chefs, mixologist, brewers and wine experts. In addition to amazing eats, there will be classes, demonstrations, competitions, parties and more!
