WEEKEND OF JULY 26-27, 2014

THINGS TO DO IN MANHATTAN BEACH AND BEYOND

Beach in the summer

This summer has been a non-stop season of perfect beach days. There’s nothing better than getting home from work before sunset and grabbing the board, bike, or deck and getting down to the beach to unwind for a bit and then settle into enjoying a BBQ’d dinner and a cool summer evening. This weekend, July 26 & 27th, we’ve uncovered some things going on in the South Bay and beyond that you may want to explore. And of course, our regular summer concerts series are in full swing right here in our own backyards.

Speaking of backyards, if you are in the market for a new home, be sure to visit our up-to-the-minute open house list for Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach. You can find our OPEN HOUSE page on www.CaskeyAndCaskey.com or you can CLICK HERE for this weekend’s open house lineup.

439 S. Prospect in Manhattan Beach will be open Sat & Sun 2-4.

IN THE SOUTH BAY

The UNPLUGGED Series at Terranea

If you haven’t discovered the Unplugged Concert Series at Terranea in Palos Verdes, you have to put this one on your calendar: It’s one of the “must-do” events this summer in our area. Perched on the cliffs overlooking the ocean, Nelson's Restaurant offers free acoustic concerts all summer, paired with delicious and rotating craft beers. Don’t want to make the drive?? That’s OK-- they offer a free shuttle from Riviera Village in Redondo Beach. The shuttle stop is located at 1799 South Catalina Ave., (at the kiosk near Soil). Shuttles run daily at 10:30 am, 2:30 pm, 6:30 pm, and 10:30 pm. This Saturday, the brew on tap is from Ballast Point and the featured musician is Jukebox. 5-9 pm.
