When is the last time you helped an elderly neighbor take their trash to the curb, cut their grass and/or helped them out?  I have a TON of respect for the elderly.  THEY are the ones that worked the hardest during the building of America and keeping us a strong country.  They didnt have cell phones, computers, or excuses, they didnt look for a president that would give them free handouts.

Do you hear what I hear....  When is the last time you sat down with an elderly person/couple and just listened to their life story?  I listed a house for an elderly man and we built rapport and he opened up to me and we talked for hours...( I could have ended the conversation at any time but what he had to say was amazing.)  It's amazing to listen to the elderly, they have been through SOOO much more in life that we as a society now couldn't even imagine.  We owe them alot for the work they did for us to keep us a free society.

I hope that everyone that reads this will take an elderly person/couple to lunch or dinner (and YOU pay for it) and jsut talk to them and let them tell you about the past.

Help out your elderly neighbors, friends and family.  You never know what they did in life to make sure YOU have what you have today and what they lost in the process.

I can always use a lunch.  LOL  I am what kids would call old.  I am fortunate to be healthy and still have my work.

We are what kids think of as old, too.

But I love to take the 'more' elderly than I to lunch, and check in on them.
