Burgers for BackPacks in Richmond VA

This is going to be hard to believe but I never ate a hamburger until 2005! I know, I am weird. More accurately, I am a picky eater yet have been expanding my food horizons for many years. Today, I love a good burger! You know what I LOVE even more? Contribution. Giving back to the community that blesses me everyday with business so I can do what I love. Well, now I can sink my teeth into an amazing burger for a great cause! Get ready for the Burgers for BackPacks in Richmond VA event!

Burgers for BackPacks Event Details

When: August 13th from 6PM-9PM

Where: Richmond Country Club, 12950 Patterson Ave., Richmond, VA

Cost: $40 per ticket. Purchase tickets HERE.

What do I get? Samples of mouth watering burgers made by some of Richmond's best chefs, such as: Chef Andrew Thommen from Kona Grill, Chef Pavel Gorski from Firebird's, Chef Michael Yates from BurgerBach, Chef Chris Farnwalt from Patrick Henry's Pub and Grille, Chef Dewayne Vandevander from Richmond County Club, and the Culinary Team from FeedMore's Community Kitchen!

In addition, you can enjoy craft beer and wine, a silent auction, raffle packages, and rub elbows with the players of the Symetra Golf Tour Pro's!

Burgers for BackPacks Benefits FeedMore

All proceeds will benefit the FeedMore BackPack Program, which provides backpacks to over 2,000 of our hungry neighborhood children whom otherwise would not have a meal over the weekend when school is out. The backpacks are filled with non-perishable items and allow kids to arrive to school on Monday with a full stomach and a focused mind!
