This is so fun.... I think I recall a similar post about the old buildings that you have passed through.  It is always great to see pride in those building that just can't be replaced.

When I see classic construction as demonstrated in your photo, I quickly believe that old adage, "They don't build them like they use to!"  They built them to last and have a lasting beauty.  It seems like since the 1960s, we lost our mojo when it comes to that!

Ron, two buildings down Main Street was the brick building with awning that had the service member's flag in the window that I posted earlier.

Myrl, you are sure right about that.  I guess the only criticism would be having a replacement window installed that was a dark woodtone instead of the stark white color with those classic turn of the century brick buildings.
