Asking for a raise in commission

"I have to have a raise in my commission," the agent said to his manager. "There are three other companies after me."

"Is that so?" asked the manager. "What other companies are after you?"

"The electric company, the telephone company, and the gas company."

I thought this was appropriate and funny at the same time during the slower market that is being felt around the country.  I actually spoke to someone in the UK yesterday and they said our slow down has also caused a slow down in their Real Estate business....
