Southern California Has Beautiful Sunsets

This is my favoritie time of the day as I love to watch the sun go down and if I am at home I like to sit on my patio with my husband and dogs and talk about our day. Also love to watch the hummingbirds stop by for a few last sips before nightfall.

California is a dream come true state no matter what your needs or wants are. We have year round warm weather, beautiful beaches, rustic mountains and desert communities. Yes, Southern California does have beautiful sunsets, Kristen. A little while ago, a friend of mine called to say the sky was setting itself up for a gorgeous Sacramento sunset. Then I got busy reading blogs, and forgot to go out and photograph to sky in the 30 minutes after the call, when the heavens should have been at their finest. . .Alas!

Hi Kathleen,

When I was growin up they used to say that CA had such beautiful sunsets due to the smog but our state has totally cleaned up the smog problem and we still have beautiful sunsets and this particular picture was taken in Calimesa CA. Yes. CA is a beautiful place to visit.

Hi Bruce,

I totally agree and when I get home late or get busy on the computer or phone and miss the sunset, I am very sad. But many times I am driving home and enjoying the sites up in the sky and every night is different.
