Our Benicia inventory of homes for sale is low, but where are the buyers? We add a few homes, and a few homes go into contract. Compared to two months ago when homes would fly off the shelves, we still have limited inventory and it appears we have a limited inventory of potental Benicia buyers too!
Of course we can always say it is the last ditch effort for summer fun before school, and any number of reasons, however someone out there has to be ready to buy?

Even with the limited inventory, there are not multiple offers for properties. Homes are lingering on the market an average of 45 days. These are perfectly wonderful homes that two months ago would have flown off the shelves. Price reductions are being done at faster pace than I have seen in over two years.
As a buyer, now might be the time to negotiate a contract to get closing cost credits, or have the seller consider a VA loan. Closing cost credits and VA loans were difficult to get through several months ago.
If you are a potential buyer, now is the time to consider buying a home in Benicia. Don't let the low inventory fool you....There are great bargains out there!
