Last week I was running around showing property and on Friday night and Sat I wrote up offers. Both clients contacted one of our local lenders Evergreen Loans and figured they would hear from them sometime Monday. So I shot off the listings to them so they would have them when they got to work. About an hour later on a Sunday night, I got an email with both clients preapproval letters. WOW pretty good for a 7pm on Sunday night.
Then yesterday I got a message from another client who was frantic the figures for closing fees weren't making sense and she wasn't sure she wanted this house anymore. She was going to call first thing on Monday to get this stopped! I could just see this poor woman having one heck of a weekend and just knew that the whole thing would blow up if she had to twist on it all weekend. She didn't say anything but I can just imagine all the thoughts going through her head right about then. As with most of us, buying a home is one of the biggest thing that we ever buy and it scares us. We look for the hidden traps, try to figure out who is duping us, and we know that everyone is out to get us. It is natural to want to run for the hills while in a home sale. Kimberly over at Evergreen Loans set up a conference call between the three of us and we got on the same page and the client was able to rest over the weekend.
I had one last month that had been with CMG for 2 months and past 3 closing dates. We switched over to Evergreen loans and had it closed in 16 days.
