Life is not awlays easy--yet you choose how you approach it

“But until a person can say deeply and honestly, "I am what I am today because of the choices I made yesterday," that person cannot say, "I choose otherwise.”- Steven R. Covey

Life can be hard, it can be challenging, and it’s not always an easy journey.  Yet at the same time, life can be so rewarding and also surprising. How you choose to approach and perceive your life will become part of the formula to help shift the outcome from day to day. You can either choose to sit on the sidelines and wait for things to change or you can get up, gear up and participate in the process of transformation.

Be open to those who step into your life to help while also being decisive. Put in the time and effort to research your options. This is part of your journey, not just the end result but the lessons and understandings in the process of getting there.

Have faith and believe in yourself.

Yes, Laura, great post! People need to take ownership of their choices, and also be open to others who come into their lives. Thanks for the words of wisdom you give so freely.

It is a beautiful concept, but unfortuately not always true. We in America today can do as you say but much of the worlds population is born into such dispare that change is hardly possible.

Great post!  Life is what we make it. Taking the bad and making it good should be the desired approach during of our journey.  Let's make our life the best one ever!

Dale Bledsoe, it is harder for many, but it's worth trying to make things better I think. Classism, racism, disabity, etc. all can contrubute, but complaining alone does nothing. We must take action.
