The Christian Renewal Center, CRC for short, is hosting a 5k run/walk November 1st. Located at 1515 Hughes Rd. in Dickinson, it is for their event, Run for Health, a way to express the importance of exercise. There will be cash prizes for the winners, male and female, and sponsorship for the event is greatly appreciated. The proceeds will go to under-privileged youth within Galveston County. A great cause, and a great way to get out and exercise. This can be for anyone, Dickinson, League City, and even Clear Lake or the Houston Bay Area! Brian, running and walking are ABSOLUTELY some of the very best ways to stay in shape, no matter what your age. I just ran 3 miles this morning with my dogs, up to about 1,000ft above sea level (pretty much straight up for about 1 & 1/2 miles) and I'm 58--so get out there and JUST DO IT,everyone! 

Hopefully it's cooler in Texas in November!
