This Mother-Daughter Team Has Forged A Legacy Of Placing Family First

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty

It’s another Sunday night in Little Rock in the Smith household. Among the scent of home cooking and deep laughter that always fills the air, Kathy Smith and her husband, Harvey, take comfort in hosting their weekly barbeque. Every Sunday, grown children Becky and Ryan enjoy visiting and sharing special family time with their parents. The Sunday tradition has been passed down to a third generation with Becky’s children. Her husband, Fred, is working his magic on the grill which he famously mans every week. Harvey rides bikes with grand-daughters Anna and Avery, while everyone awaits dinner and a chance to bond and hash over the past week. This international family has lived all over the world, from Germany to Maine, but have always stayed true to their weekly family day.

A Team Legacy

The family legacy of cherishing closeness began when the Smiths were married over 35 years ago. It flourished later in Europe, where they were stationed on and off for two decades. Harvey’s international assignments may have only lasted months, but Kathy insisted that her children always show respect for the culture of the host country. At the same time, she and Becky made sure that Sunday was a time of family closeness. The gatherings often included new friends, who may not have spoken English, but the Smith children were encouraged to show them hospitality and graciousness nonetheless.

As a result, Kathy and Becky made a home wherever they were, while absorbing all they could about the place they lived in. Respect, faith and honoring God became the values that deepened as their circle of multi-cultural friends widened. When the they returned to Little Rock to settle in the place they call home, they brought with them a new respect for the practices that forge a family’s heritage, from Sunday dinners to Alpine hikes.

Compassion and Skill

This same compassion that Kathy and Becky bring to the table as real estate professionals is a legacy they’ve built together as a family. Kathy’s years as a top agent in Little Rock is an asset to clients looking for area expertise, negotiation savvy and superb service. Becky’s marketing talents help buyers and sellers realize the greatest return on their investments. Together, this team provides proven expertise that makes every move a success.

She can guide clients to their dream lifestyle, from a golf property to a vacation sanctuary. Clients rely on Becky’s expertise as a respected agent and praise her research and follow-through abilities.

Attuned to Family Needs

This team also shares a legacy of faith and commitment to the community, which are key motivators for getting every detail right. As long-time Little Rock residents, Kathy and Becky can guide buyers and sellers to the area’s best boating, fishing and hiking. Attuned to family, they know where the best cultural and sports-oriented amenities are. They offer a turnkey introduction to all that the area offers, whether you’re moving into the city, moving up or downsizing.
