We were attracted to a traditional school, and have been very pleased with KTA. This is my children's second year at this school and we hope they make it K-8. We like the advanced curriculum, dress code, great teachers, and school events. They teach the students to be responsible and respectful. The Arizona Department of Education has issued Kyrene Traditional Academy Sureno Campus an "A" grade. In the state of Arizona, school are graded by the Department of Education using a calculating formula based on the number of students who pass each year and the amount of academic progress each student makes during the year. For the 2nd year in a row, Kyrene Sureno Campus has received the "High Preforming Reward" from the Department of Education in recognition "because of our "A" letter grade and our above average achievement and growth on our 2013 AIMS tests!" This school has the Kyrene Kids Club which is a high-quality, safe before and after school program that's open from 6:30am to 6:30 pm. Full or partial days as well as flexible days and times are a wonderful aspect of this program.
