About 8 years ago I was introduced to “Real Estate”. I always liked working with people. So, here I am working with you as my new home buyer. I meet your entire family and maybe you even have children. We talk about what is most important to you and your family in your house hunt.
Saturday morning we are on the road looking at homes. I am the kind of realtor that understands that sometimes not having family close by to watch your kids can make things challenging; I will hold them and entertain them while you tour the house, because I want YOU to focus on the moment.
Here is the couple that is just starting out and we are looking for a cute 2 bed townhouse. Wait, did you just say, you want to start a family? Let’s look for a 3 bedroom instead. Great!
As a realtor I am passionate about my work and will keep you focused on what it is important to you, so we find the right home, and can eliminate those homes that least match your criteria.
I feel with my clients when they are disappointed about a home, because it looked better in the pictures than in reality. I feel for them when our offer gets bid out by another offer. However, I will keep them motivated (they might feel overwhelmed, and want to take a break) on their goal, and remind them about the other nice house across town they liked as well.
I get excited when they finally walk through that door and fall in love with the house, picturing their furniture around the house, and planning backyard BBQ’s.
When the day of settlement arrives, and they can’t wait to get the keys to their new home, that is when I feel most accomplished; it makes me feel great, as I have been on this journey (sometimes long journey), and know that they will make that home their own.
We are not so different from our clients, and have families of our own, children, elderly parents, kids, and relationship problems, cars repair, doctor appointments, bills to pay and yards to mow. REALTORS ARE PEOPLE TOO!
Realtors are more than just people in the business of assisting in buying or selling houses.
I love my work as a realtor, as it connects me with all different kinds of people. I am passionate about real estate, dedicated, and will go to extra lengths to help you and your family find that perfect home.
I enjoy getting to know them, and love when they invite me back to their house as a guest and friend. Just because I helped them buy a home, does not mean I “go away”. My clients know, they can call me for any advice, whether it is a contractor, design questions, home warranty questions, or even tax related, and at least I can point them in the right direction.
Just remember REALTORS are people too, and thank them for the hard work!
