Credit tip number six is to remember your individual financial behaviors also affect others who share responsibility for credit cards, loans, and bills with you. This can be a touchy topic and I'm sure many of us have ended up on the short end of the stick when it comes to creditor know someone who has. Before you agree to a joint account, be sure both parties are prepared for the weight of using credit responsibly.

Good advice on this very touchy topic. This is a very good reason not to co-sign any debt obligations for others, including relatives, unless you control the situation and can afford to fully pay the debt.

Whitney, Sound advice to all as both parties need to be on same page and share responsibility.
