Over the past several months. home listing prices have trended higher in this area of Alpharetta. As the graph indicates, prices have moved in an upward line since the beginning of 2014. Not only have prices been on the rise, but so have the number of properties listed for sale. Active listings increased by 28.5% from the previous month. So it seems that we're seeing a dual increase resulting in a great benefit for homeowners. And it seems to be working. As prices trend higher, homeowners get excited and list their homes. As this pattern continues, home homeowners list and sell their homes. Over time, prices will come down to a more sustainable level, one where the market doesn't overheat. Hopefully, this is a trend that will continue.
