Awesome and simple tip from Jimmy Chickey. Thank you Jimmy. I thought this would be more difficult than it is to add to my blogs. I am going to try it and see if it is as easy as copy and paste.

This is Tech Tip #10 (of 10) - How To Create Social Media Buttons! Here is a great tool for adding linked social media icons anywhere you would like. This will make it as easy as possible for your online audience to connect with you. I use this trick to put the same icons on blogs (see below), emails and websites. This tasty trick was given to me by Michael Tritthart, who is an amazing tech marketing guru.We use Market Leader for our primary website and CRM. If your not using Market Leader, then get in touch and we can help you get connected. In the example below, I will be adding social media links to my Active Rain Blog.If you haven't done so already, you will need to fill in your social media contact information on the MY ACCOUNT tab of the Market Leader ADMIN sectionThen CLICK on the ABOUT tab so you can see the linked icons that you just created. If you only plugged in Facebook and Twitter details, only those two icons will show up. I prefer to add all social media connections. Now, use your mouse to select all of the icons and COPY them into your clipboard.Open up a blog post in Active Rain and just COPY the contents of your clipboard at the top of the post.
You will find that each of those icons are active linked buttons that will direct you to your account on those websites. This is not just pretty pictures! It is an easy way for others to connect with you.Once you see how easy this is, you will want to add these to email signatures or other websites.I hope you found this helpful. Here are some other tech tips for you.Tech Tip #1: SlydialTech Tip #2: Unlocking Lockboxes with your phoneTech Tip #3: RefreshTech Tip #4: Dropbox on SteroidsTech Tip #5: Ancor Phone / ipad ChargerTech Tip #6: Evernote
