For the entrepreneurs out there, I thought I’d change it up a bit and give you a peek behind the curtain of running a real estate business. I started selling real estate in 2001 and founded the team in 2004; since then it has been an exciting ride. The market has shifted multiple times, the expectations of clients have changed, and technology continues to alter the landscape. What then are the fundamentals of the business that keep things moving forward for years?
The first one is Vision. The organization, the team members, the clients, and partners need to know and understand the vision of the organization. Our vision is to be the real estate team you love and as we look back on the business over the last decade, we have always done best when that is clear.
The second is Data. Just as home buyers need to understand their closing costs, businesses need to understand their key numbers. We are a double bottom-line company, in business for both profit and impact. We see the impact every day in the testimonials, the face-to-face interactions, and the transformational change buying and selling a piece of real estate has on you and your family.
The third is Processes. It’s our way of doing business. The way we interact as a team through role specialization and the processes and procedures we use ensures a higher level of client service and a better result.
