Decorative Solar Panels – The Next Generation of COOL
My Mom, Belinda Spillman, and I recently took a trip to the western slopes of Colorado to visit a dear friend slash Active Rainer, Debbie Laity. Whilst on the drive we came across a rest stop that had some pretty neat looking giant flower sculptures. Upon closer inspection we realized they were actually solar panels used to power the rest stop accommodations! COOL! Not a week later did I stumble across an article profiling an artist who paints custom murals on roof sized solar panels. Anything from sunsets to flower gardens to beach scenes! COOL X 2!
I was so excited to see this next generation of COOL as it relates to Solar Panels. As the solar power industry continues to expand, offering something different, unique, and customizable will surely help with the growth. Much like with a car, once someone sees something that they can identify with, they are more likely to buy it.
“HEY, that solar panel installation is ME to a T, I’ll take it!”
The immediate and dire need to find alternative energy resources and conserve what is left of our planet is evident, and bringing solar panels into the next generation of COOL is a key piece. Imagine if every home had solar panels with a beautiful look about them, it would soon start to become as popular as stone siding, stamped concrete, and professionally landscaped backyard paradises! A selling feature of the home of course.
I look forward to the day when my “For Sale Brochures” have a
snazzy solar panel picture front and center!
