What is it like to live in La Quinta in the Summer?

Kathy - You're absolutely right, a few months of hot weather is a small price to pay when you have the rest of the year at a perfect temperature!  Once again you show your clients why you're the real estate agent in the know when it comes to the La Quinta area!

I'll take the few months of extreme heat over the unpredictable summers of the northeast any day!  I love the heat out here, though it's much cooler over here.

Kathy, I've never been to La Quinta but it sounds lovely! Especially the part about jumping in the pool

Forecast for Sunday afternoon is a high around the upper 90's and as usual I playing 18.  Just a little warm but thankfully it is not -5 degrees

Happy to hear you love your La Quinta. Just went through the desert once around 1950. It was August and a very hot forty mile drive - the Route 66 California-Arizona border. Remember two names near by - Barstow and Needles. A service gave us an AC to hang on the window and told us not to open any windows during the crossing. We almost died in the car (haha). Probably the air conditioner did not work. At one point we got out of the car to breathe; believe the temperature was 110 or 114. It was cooler outside. Very happy to get to Needles (?) where we were met by a zillion crickets lining the ground like a carpet One thing for sure, Kathy, believe I would prefer your Winters:)

Kathy - I have a dear friend in Palm Desert and we always find plenty of things to do in the desert whether it's July or January.

HI Kathy - it is a good time to recharge your batteries, I know the feeling with lots of tourists, I am glad when Labor Day is over, and it quiets down here too. I love La Quinta, my Mom lives there at Trilogy!
