The Timonium Baja Fresh has reopened as of August 2014!
A little known secret of mine is that I really enjoy Baja Fresh food. Though we have the other usual fast food southwest/mexican eateriers around (other good places like Chipotle, Qdoba and the like,) I really like the flavors, especially the salsa, at Baja Fresh.
The Timonium Baja Fresh had been closed for a very long time -- all winter, spring and most of summer. There was apparently a leak or problem from a business upstairs that completely ruined their space.
There were signs stating that the place would be back. But after more than half a year being closed, I began to lose hope.
I was pulling out of a shopping center across the street last week, and what did I see? The door opened! Someone came out. WITH A BAG OF FOOD!
I immediately went across the street (lucky me, I hadn't eaten lunch yet,) and checked it out. An updated menu, clean, fresh interior, and new employees greeted me.
My lunch was great, and I was so happy to see that one of my favorite places to get lunch by my office had been reopened.
So, YES, the Baja Fresh in Timonium is open!
