Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself and my town of Hesperia, Ca. Located about 35 miles north of Ontario International Airport and just north of the Cajon Pass. They call it the high desert because of the elevation and the climate. Today was chilly and windy however the desert is in full bloom.
I am in my fourth year of selling real estate, and it is so sad to see so many people losing their homes and facing financial difficulty. Now more than ever people need to see what Realtors are passionate about their work, and which ones are in it just for profit and personal gain. Many offices have closed their doors and others are leaving to pursue other jobs. I want to stay for the long run. At one time there were over 4000 Realtors working out of our association, those numbers are down about 1/2. Prices have really declined here, homes were selling in 2006 on average at $175 sq. ft and today they are at an average of $110 a sq. ft. , I do not want to project doom and gloom, it's just the way it is. We are hopefully at the peak of our decline and soon it will be better. It's very important to stay positive and de-stressed as much as possible. Exercise is a great stress reliever for me. This has been my first post and I look forward to doing this more often.
