This Car Is Not For Realtors, or Is It?

Reblogger Debbie Walsh
Real Estate Agent with SHAHAR Management

This is a post by my friend Rebecca, a fellow Realtor in West Virginia.  This is a cool new car? motorcycle? Either way I think this could be in my future!

Original content by Rebecca Gaujot, Realtor® WV0026375

This Car is not for Realtors, or is it?

This car, the Elio, reminds me of a motorcycle, a very expensive one at that. It only has three wheels.  Some stats on this vehicle that came out this summer are:

  • 84 highway mpg
  • 8 gallon tank
  • American made
  • projected 5-star safety rating
  • only $6,800
  • Choices in several colors (mushroom, rocket silver, sour apple, creamsicle, red hot, true blue, and licorice.)

Check out the video below, and let me know what you think of this car or motorcycle!

It looks like it would be fun. Although, you couldn't take clients around in this vehicle.   And when my husband and I go on long trips, I like to be in the front seat with him and to also enjoy the scenery.

This Car is not for Realtors, or is it?  No, I think it is for those folks who have everything and just need a new toy!

Thanks Debbie for the reblog.  I would like a smaller second car, but have my heart on a VW convertible to ride around town and do my errands.

Love it!Great Carmel-by-the-Sea in-town car, we are only 1 square mile, so I'd probably only need to get gas twice a year. Or if I expanded that to all over the Monterey Peninsula, maybe gas up once a month.

Cool reblog.  I'm going with electric, a cleaner source.  Give me a car, and make it a hybrid!  Although I do like the price on this puppy!

Debbie, I don't think I would take it on the freeway, but around town I would drive it all day long.

Debbie

Not a very good car for showing homes.

Good luck and success.

Good morning Debbie. I commented on Rebecca's post, I had never seen anything like that before. I'm sure we will see them on the road at some point.

Lokk at Barbara Todaro getting all excited about it. Now you gave her an idea. Don't be surprised if we see her in one of her blogs with that toy.

It looks like a safer version of a motorcycle. Great for showing properties but if buyers come with their spouse, I don't think this would work. Not bad for a good price though.

Maine winter snow banks... rut rho. I'll keep the 10 and 2 behind the wheel of a jeep with clearance and (shifting, locking sound) four wheel drive. Getting stuck, hung up eats into production. And big enough to talk with a buyer about their dream going into the showing, their reactions coming out. That drive time chit chat determines how many miles, ends of the Earth and back am I going to log on this jeep for time, mileage, gas guzzling?

Debbie, as a motorcyclist I certainly understand the attraction, but as a Realtors car...not so much.

I think it would be perfect for some showings where I just don't want the clients in my car!

It seems as if a 3 wheeled car needs 4 letters to name. Fiat had one many years ago as well, and it was short lived s well.
