Fed Keeps Interest Rates Low

With no economic reporting today stock traders reacted Lowe's lowered earnings forecast and Target reduced profit expectations.  This set stocks off to a slow start.  What traders were really waiting to see, however, was the minutes of today's Fed Open Market Meeting.  When they reported they were not yet ready to raise rates, stocks made a moderate advance into the close.  The Dow was up 59 points on the day.
