It was another good time at Florida Seafood for the summer 2014 Active Rain meet up last week. There were a lot of ideas and opinions shared and a lot of laughs too. The meet up was hosted by Diana Zaccarro and attended by myself, Kerry Klun and Gary Waters. It was a nice break for me as I have been going non-stop the entire summer.
We met at lunch time and I was quite hungry. I enjoy the fritters with powdered sugar that are a signature item at Florida Seafood. I don't typically eat fried foods but I do once in a while and I don't get over to Florida Seafood often, maybe twice a year, so I usually have them when I do. I enjoyed the Thia chicken with vegetables and a side of linguine with olive oil. It was very good and satisfying.
Diana shared a new tablet that she had, that was really nice, and looked really easy to use. There was talk of going somewhere new next meet up, Jack Baker 's Lobster Shanty was mentioned. I am looking forward to seeing everyone again at the next meet up.
