My Favorite Testimonial From a Wisconsin Home Seller
This is a re-blog of our recent post in the Madeline Island Real Estate Blog earlier today.
We're delighted to announce the Pending Sale of 1726 108th Street, in Balsam Lake, Wisconsin. And we received a very kind testimonial email from the sellers, Jim and Laura Landreth.
A few years ago, noted area architect Jim Landreth got the idea of acquiring and re-purposing the former East Balsam Baptist Church (originally built in 1910). Jim turned the church into a remarkable luxury country home, with an impressive vaulted ceiling, a dramatic slate-faced fireplace in the large living room, loft bedroom with its own fireplace and a twin-island kitchen with adjoining breakfast/dining room that feels much like a solarium.
Jim wrote us the following email two days ago:
