There's a strong argument for the convenience and reduced cost of living closer to Portland.
Lake Oswego is close enough to Portland's financial district and certainly nice enough to accommodate luxury condominiums for people that desire this lifestyle. Condo's offer many benefits. Property taxes are lower and less yard maintenance is required. Also, homeowners have the network of neighbors to offer safety and comradery.
