When You React in the Old Ways

Lou- we all want to hold onto what we know.. what's familiar to us but we can in doing so hurt our opportunity to grow and expand our world.

Good evening Lou,  Old addage of "of do the same thing, expect the same results".  Only in our business I believe the results get worse and do not stay the same.  This business is about change and the willingness to do so.  Thank you for the post.

God morning Lou. I have been both and most likely will be in the future. Fortunately I don't stay in the past very often, but just go to visit.

It can sometimes be difficult to break old habits.  Yet, most of the time it's part of the evolutionary process!

We have a tendency to go where we are most comfortable...in stressful times it could very well be the "bad" old ways!

Lou: You are right, again. Top successful business people will tell you that they learn from their mistakes. You have to try to do things differently to gain the edge and there is always the potential for a mistake; but then you won't make that mistake again in the future and will remain open to new ideas.

Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change. 

Yes, Lou.  I have turned over a new leaf as of today.  No more complaining.

Some of us in the senior age category are certainly trapped by the old ways of doing things. It takes real effort to break out.

Sometimes it can be difficult to break out of an old pattern, but sometimes change is necessary in order to grow.
