Come on over to the 53rd Annual Turkey Shoot, and support a good cause. Entry tickets for the Turkey Shoot are a donation of $5 for 6 tickets. Lunch will be served from 11am to 3pm Saturday and Sunday, for a donation of $5 for Hamburger, chips and a drink.

Tickets can be purchased at the event or at my office at Century 21 Hardee-Team Realty, which is located at 30310 Tomball Parkway (across from Lone Star College Tomball), Tomball, TX 77375.

Bring Your Rifle, pistol or shot gun to the 53rd Annual Turkey Shoot -- Magnolia, TX. This year's Turkey Shoot will be on September 27 & 28th, 2014. The address for 2014 Turkey Shoot is 41922 N. Mill Dr, Magnolia, TX 77354. Call Liz Flint at 832-816-8066 for more details.

Liz - I'm with Ronald ... I'm still thinking BBQ and corn-on-the-cob! AND my pumpkins aren't even close to ripe yet! Is this an annual labor day launch for the event or does it have to do with the availability of the game.? Even a late September date seems a little early! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Ronald and Jack, this is an annual event that the Magnolia folks have been enjoying for the past 53 years. I think it is more a party/get-together more than a Thanksgiving thing. I agree it would have made more sense to have it nearer to Thanksgiving though. Maybe they did it at this time of year for the beginning of school season. I know I have heard that they don't have later in the year because of all the holiday parties in Nov and Dec.

Quite a tradition - 53 years but I'm not ready to start thinking turkey either although I did see Christmas cards in the bookstore yesterday. Way too soon. Hope Magnolia has a great shoot and community event.
