Hearken to the ancient chorus!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Richard Weisser Realty

Now quench the drought of melody
With babbling, gurgling harmony,
And hearken to the ancient chorus
Performed each day and set before us!

(R Weisser 2014)

It seems that everything is changing rapidly these days. Our immersion in technology infiltrates every facet of our existence.

But there are things that are pretty much the same as they were a thousand years ago.

The sound of a river crashing over rocks. The stars in the night sky. A gentle breeze on a sultry day.

Now I might use technology to record these examples. But they exist independently without any intervention from me or technology!

And will continue to do so long after we are gone!

Nature is all around us with incredible sounds. I love the bubbling stream and the sound of the trees moving in the wind. Thanks Richard, for reminding us!

Hi Richard,  I agree that the most spectacular things are God's creations, not technoloby!

I could listen to hours and hours of that Richard.  A creek flowing is the most peaceful sound to me.

The sounds of nature echo in the back of my mind all the time.  I had it in the front for about 4 hours yesterday

Richard... Nice one... Yes, we might capture a little bit of nature with our technology, but nature is the ultimate composer and source. Nice verse, I can listen to water for hours. We don't hear nearly enough nature these days.

The sounds of nature never get old.  Nothing man made more soothing.
