Penrose is a residential neighborhood in central Arlington County. It is bounded by Arlington Boulevard to the north, Columbia Pike to the south, Washington Boulevard to the east, and South Fillmore Street/South Wallter Reed Drive to the west. The Columbia Pike Revitalization Organization has recently been supporting smart growth in the area and the plans for a future streetcar along Columbia Pike will help to continue this growth.
