Last week I wrote a tongue-in-cheek whiny bit about being inundated by spam. And at the bottom, I mentioned the unending stream of spam e-mails I get every day written in Cyrillic, and requested some help in translating what I felt had to be some fabulous offers for personal enrichment.
Alexandra Seigel, of Language of Luxury fame, and a fount of worldly knowledge and arcane skills, kindly offered to assist, since she does Cyrillic. I was excited to send her my next e-mail - I had visions of Russian brides and cheap caviar. This is what I sent her:

Alas, it turned out to be just simple spam, for a business that, for what I'm sure is an attractive price, will send out even more spam on my behalf. Here's what it says:

This method of promotion - really brings new customers.

- A detailed report in a private office;
- Ability to select a region or city;
