Craig,  I have been using Snipping Tool  since it ships with Windows but I will have to check this one out too.  I can't tell you how many times a day I use Snipping Tool.  It is a lifesaver.

Craig - Will have to check this guy out. I too have been using snipping tool as well for Win7. Then for extra oomph I would open said grab in a photo shop tool and add any markups I would need from there. This may save me a few steps and time.. Thanks

Skitch is a great tool. I've had it on my Ipad and android tablets and have used it for a while now, but didn't know it was available for windows. Great tip.

Played with it a bit.  Pretty easy!!!!

Great program it seems, I usually use Snagit which I've had to pay for so this is even better.

I've been using SnagIt, but this one looks even easier - I'll give it a try.

Great tip. Have bookmarked, but will need to play with this a bit, as I'm sure it's not as simple as it looks until you've had some experience with it.

I use SnagIt by TechSmith.  I am familiar with EverNote, but have not used  "Snitch".    I will give it a test drive.  Thanks for the link!

I like the app and have used it in keynote presentations. 

I use snipit on my pc, but was looking for a mac solution.  Off to search for it now.

Snag-it is the default screen shot tool on my computer, and I can add text or edit the screen shot in an editor window. Sounds like I should check out Skitch for my phone or iPad. Am I on target with that?

Jing is another free tool you can use to capture pieces of a screen and do some captions and highlighting and draw arrows, etc.

There are some good apps for screen capture - Skitch being part of Evernote is surely a better option for many using Evernote.

Chrome (and for that matter other browsers) have a plug-in for screen capture which can be edited like Skitch.

I will have to look into this one. Right now I use Jing by Tech Smith to take screen shots and mark them up.

I love skitch but find it much easier to use on my ipad than on the pc.
