A Smile as Big as Texas

Russell Lewis had a smile as big as Texas and was one of the most interesting people I have met here in Austin. Although we had never done a deal together in real estate…we have met several times at Active Rain Meet-ups. The most memorable one for me, was one year ago this month. Russell drove me back to the parking garage downtown after the AR meeting, and we had the longest and best talk. He told me about his wife, kids and college and his crazy days from when he was young…to not that long ago! His love for food and cooking, his volunteer work, the remodeling on their home, and of course real estate. Russell could talk a mile a minute, so still amazed at what all we talked about in the drive to the parking garage. I will miss his big smile and big heart and his wonderful stories. He will be missed by all that knew him and loved him.

Russell road with Donald and I from one side of Atlanta to the other side to meet up with some folks. Like your ride, we discussed a LOT on that ride to and from the hotel to the restaurant and back. He was such a kind hearted person.

Sherry, I only had the pleasure of seeing Russell one time when he showed up for the meet up I hosted. He was loved by many and your right he did have the biggest smile around and a very inviting personality.
