Founded in 1990, Eastlake is a 3,200 acre master planned community comprised of a number of individual neighborhoods that include:

The Eastlake master planned community is located within Chula Vista, which is located in San Diego County. Eastlake has residential, commercial, industrial, and recreational areas.

Over 1,100 acres of Eastlake are devoted to parks and recreational activities. The entire master planned community is connected by paths for cycling, walking and jogging. There are 4 main parks in Eastlake.

Montevall Park has spaces devoted to softball, tennis, basketball and skating. They have playgrounds, picnic areas, and places where you can take your dog to enjoy some off-the-leash time. A main facility houses a gymnasium, restrooms, and other rooms used for meetings and classes.

Mountain Hawk Park has an amphitheater, an interactive water feature and gazebos that overlook Otay Lake.

Heritage Park Community Center is surrounded by over 10 acres of park area. The center is used for meetings, classes, exercise programs, dances, and various sports. It's also home to an after-school program that benefits the children in the community.

Veterans' Park is located near the Chula Vista Veterans' Home. Visitors can walk along the Walk of Honor, where local residents and businesses purchase bricks inscribed with the name of a veteran and use the bricks to pave this walkway.
