It is time again for the Annual Arvada Harvest Festival! In 1925 the City of Arvada hosted the town’s first Harvest Festival to celebrate the completion of the first paved road between Denver and Arvada, Grandview Ave.

Arvada’s 89th Annual Festival begins Friday September 5th and continues through the weekend, ending the evening of Sunday September 7th. The main roads in Olde Town Arvada will be blocked off to vehicles and filled with all sorts of fun for all ages and walks of life.
There will be food vendors, a beer and margarita garden, a craft fair, carnival games and rides and booths featuring many local business set up in Olde Town Arvada all weekend beginning Friday morning.
Saturday morning will kick off with a September 11th remembrance 5k run/walk at 6:30am. At 9am a parade featuring local businesses, the Arvada Police and Fire Departments, cheerleading teams and marching bands from local high schools, The Elks and more. The parade will travel down 58th Ave onto Old Wadsworth Boulevard and finish on Grandview Ave. Around 8pm on Saturday, the children’s movie UP will be playing on a large screen in McIlvoy Park, which is located at Ralston Rd and Upham St.
Most businesses located within Olde Town Arvada are open during the harvest festival for patrons to come in, look around and have questions answered by staff members and the business owners. The Arvada Flour Mill will also be giving free tours on Saturday and Sunday.
