Wow. That's what I have to say about this amazing experience! We had absolutely no clue what to expect when I invited a few of my friends to join me on a 'glass blowing experience at The Holdman Studio!'. It was SO much fun!
The Holdman Studio definitely a hidden gem located in Lehi at Thanksgiving Point! I invited a few friends to join me for a fun afternoon - after a delicious lunch at Harvest - we ventured down to make some glass flowers. We really had no clue what was in store.
It was a fantastically fun experience - you got to watch, learn and create a memorable beautiful glass piece to bring home! Here are a few pictures to share!

Here's a little information about glass blowing: This art has been going on for hundreds and hundreds of years. It's done by heating up the glass so hot that the glass ends up becoming almost liquid, allowing it to be shaped.
Here are a few shots of 
the actual process - heating the glass up to a whopping 2,400 F; the Glass emits enough heat to appear almost white hot!
It's then rolled in the colors of your choice then back in the heat to melt it all down!
Once that's done... well, I should probably just show you the video, shouldn't I?
And VOILA!! The finished product!! How amazing is this??
I recommend this visit to everyone. I will definitely be going back to do this again soon. What a great experience and souvenir!! Thank you everyone at The Holdman Studio for your hospitality! We will be seeing you again soon!!
