Celebration High School Recognized As One Of America's Top High Schools

Celebration High School in Osceola County, Florida, has earned a prestigious place on the list of "Top USA High Schools" compiled by The Daily Beast, formerly Newsweek magazine. Out of over 22,000 high schools in America, the school earned the #707 spot. In addition, Celebration High was also named to The Daily Beast's list of "Break-Out High Schools" as #58 in recognition of its student  learning success in light of the high percentage of students on free and reduced lunch, which is at 64%.    

To compile the rankings, The Daily Beast used six indicators culled from school surveys to compare public high schools in the U.S., with graduation and college acceptance rates weighed most heavily. Other criteria included: college-level courses and exams, percentage of students on free or reduced lunch, as well as SAT and ACT scores which attest to how well a school prepares students for college.

"The success at Celebration High is built on great students working with amazing teachers in a school community where the parents and families support every student in being prepared for all the opportunities that will greet him or her when they graduate from high school. We will use this recognition to help us continue to make a great school even better!"
