The study of Feng Shui teaches us that we have three types of "luck". There's Heaven Luck, what we bring with us to the planet; Earth Luck, where we land; and Man Luck, what we do with what we have.
Our lives are nourished or stymied by each of these. The most important of the three is the Man Luck.
What we do with what we have determines our success. There's a parable in the Bible that tells the story of a man who had to go away for a while, so he entrusted three servants with bags of money in varying amounts. Each was held accountable when he returned. Two had taken the money and invested it. He was very pleased that they had increased his money.
One had buried the money he was given in the ground. There was no increase, and the man was furious. The one who had buried the money had it taken from him and was punished for his laziness.
We are expected to use our brains and our talents and return to heaven with more than we came with.
What does this have to do with Feng Shui? Feng Shui is a tool, using it will build on your ability to make the most of your situation, whatever it is. And, shouldn't we all want to make the most of what we have?
