Nope, there is nothing that can't wait when it comes to business when 'doing your business'!

I do talk on the phone while I am in the bathroom, however not while USING the bathroom. Often I will receive calls while I am finishing my hair and I will take the call as usually it is a showing request.

Richard, some refer to the bathroom as "The Library"---perhaps this is just an extension of that.  Oh---wait a minute---there is not supposed to be any talking in the library.

As a general rule, no I do not.  There have been a few exceptions w/ emergencies/people I know very well.  But, no I don't think it's a good idea and certaintly not professional.

That's what mute buttons are for.  If you are on a call, can't get a word in edgewise and nature calls, mute and when done, unmute.  If it is not a conversation hog, you can ask to call them back.

Hi Richard - Generally, no, with a few minor exceptions (and the help of the mute button). But I'm fairly close to someone who made a habit of it until she dropped her iPhone in the toilet - served her right!

No, I am not!!! And, when the urge calls, I ask to call back!  But, I loved Dick's comment!

I admit it, I am. But only with very close friends (female) and my mother. 

Oh, yeah, with friends and family, absolutely,  No time to waste!  Heh-heh, no pun intended. 

Richard, I may read email, surf the net, play games on the phone, but talking on the phone while "taking care of business"?  Not going to happen.  Bill

maybe if it's my daughter or my mom calling I might pick up to make sure it's not an emergency, but another agent.... nope.

Hi Richard, Never. That is what voice mail is for. This is where multi tasking would exceed what is acceptable. 

I am with William Johnson...this would not be acceptable professional multitasking.

I am guilty when speaking to my close family members. However business calls absolutely no!

Richard.... I am still laughing! I have heard that too. And nope, I am terrified of dropping my cell in the toilet. The bathroom is the one place I pray, I hope, I desire to be LEFT ALONE!!!!!!!

Hi Richard - this is not something I do at all.  Maybe it's me but I think that it's rude.  On the other hand, I have been known to throw down on some Candy Crush from time to time.
